Price reduced and now includes WO 8" Saddle/Dovetail plate combo (Losmandy style plate)

Illuminated polar alignment scope
RS-232C and autoguiding sockets
Two 3.7 kg counterweights
Takahashi FC-L adjustable mahogany tripod
Hand controller
Custom made heavy duty transport case from ScopeGuard in US

This mount is 4 ½ years old and in excellent condition. Not GoTo, but a great photographic mount for smaller instruments. Compact and easily portable, ideal for refractors up to 100mm for photography or a bit larger larger for visual. Very stable for its size and weight. Smooth tracking, accurate to +/_ 10 arc seconds. Adjustable drive correction rates.

Replacement cost for total package is around $5500. Asking $2200 plus shipping.

Mick, it's been carrying a Tak FS-102 and guidescope for me with good results. This is about 10kg plus camera and adapters. I wouldn't want to put too much more on it for photography.

Graeme did you purchase this mount new, have to admit it looks very well cared for.

Also with the auto guiding socked, can one just connect from the socket to the lappy, using PHD guiding, or maybe something else is needed.

Yes, I got it new, Leon. I autoguide with a Shoestring GPUSB interface box between the laptop and the autoguider socket in the mount.

Thanks for that Graeme, I to have used that set up when I had the Toucam as a guide Camera, so this method is very familar to me.
