So true!

A number of years ago we all gathered for the 40th birthday of a friend.
Some of us were very into the Punk movement during the '70's, and when they put the Sex Pistols "Pretty Vacant" on, a group of 20 or so people got up and started jumping around and pogoing to the music(?). Sadly only 2 or 3 people lasted to the end of the song. The majority gave up, breathless and exhausted after only about a minute.
Very sad indeed, I wish I had a video camera there.
I couldn't stop laughing.

Graham,

I was watching the Collectors on TV a few months back. And they were
talking about collectable Albums. One of the most sort after was "Never
Mind The Bollocks" by the Sex Pistols. If you have an original copy in pristine
condition... with out ciggy burns, razor scratches or a safety pin stuck
through it. They are fetching AUS$11,000.00 I imediately rang home only
to discover my mother had thrown out my albums about 20 years ago
Stiff Little Fingers were another favorite of mine...then it all went a bit
hardcore after that... GBH, UK Subs.... hell remember the Cure back then
what a bunch of tossers they turned out to be. In NZ a good Punk party
nearly always involved a riot with the police I think they hated us as
much as we hated them.

regards,CS

I better start sifting through all my old albums, I know I had it.

I believe Iron Butterfly's In a Gadda Da Vida is getting up there also.

Guess who has a mint condition half speed master.

Phew, just had to dash into the laundry and check my vinyl copies of SLF's `Inflammable Material' and `Nobodies Heroes' were still intact

At the end of the last Tull gig when Anderson threw the giant balloons into the audience someone used a walking stick to push one back into the air.
