I'm thinking about it but not sure. I'll see what the forecast says in the next update.

I've got two mounts out already after some solar observing but there are a few clouds around - hopefully just some cumulus remnants that will fade away. Very nice proms today and there have been quite a few over the last couple of weeks.

saw one cumulus tower just to my north that actually developed into thunderstorm anvil but collapsed as quickly as it went up.

Cumulus tends to dissipate after sundown as convective energy is lost, it's these patches of mid-level cloud that are worrying.

It's looking 100% crap in Melbounre tonight, all I can see is big patches of cloud in every direction.

that brings me to another thing I hate about Melbournes weather, you have to agonise over whether or not to it's safe to go out. In a good climate, if it's clear its clear, you don't have to worry about Melboune cloud coming to kill you.

This can all be put down to ONE THING:

My mate Geoff just bought a 5.1" TMB triplet, and has yet to achieve first light.
