Telescope tube

Hi
I need a telescope tube 1300mm long and 293mm diameter in one length
any ideas , its for imaging so needs to be strong and maybe with reinforcing near the focuser.
any ideas

Made mine out of 2mm aluminium sheet & rolled. Steel strengthening bands each end. Plenty strong enough.

Zane, you might want to try 'Sonotube'. A very strong, thick walled, builder's cardboard tube, used for concrete column moulds. It's what the Meade DOBs are made from. Great thermal qualities etc etc... + they don't rust!
