ISS and Orion

This was taken this morning, about 5:17am with a very bright ISS pass right overhead.

As it went into the NE sky, it passed between Orion and Taurus.

Unfortunately I wasn't prepared (only remembered at the last minute) so didn't get time to focus properly

42s exposure @ ISO800 with the Canon 350D on a fixed tripod.

Nice work Mike; shame about the focus but gee, the ISS looks bright!

Cheers

Not too bad considering it was nearly no image at all!

Dropping the image size has no doubt helped to make the image more acceptable (wrt focus).

Good work, Mike. Thanks for posting.

Al.

Nice one Mike.

I had a pleasant surprise the other morning when I saw M45, Taurus and Orion peaking up over the tree line.

Always exciting to see their return.
