Copernicas & Ibrium

I have to say, that I was prompted to take this shot when i saw just how good the moon looked through the 8mm Teleview radian, the fine detail around Copernicus is awesome !

Very nice image Ian. This is one of my favourite areas of the Moon and you have captured the area and details really well.

Cheers

Thanks Dennis
Using a universal camera adaptor & a Teleview Eyepiece makes all the difference.

I couldn't help myself. While I was out quickly checking the scope tonight I tried a moon shot with the 6.5mm Plossl BARLOWED to 3.25mm! Now that is really pushing my scope.

It's a rough pic but here it is. It's an extreme close up of a mountain range.

Hey, don't know if I don't try!

OK, reposted image... now I have this image file size thing sorted out, I think i have a better image.
Still 800x600 but only 30 to 40KB, much easier to see detail without sacrificing image quality too much.
