Find this Lunar section

I took this ridiculously close up shot on my f5 dob using a Barlowed 6.5mm Plossl making it 3.25mm!!!!!!! (yeah, I know, pretty stupid!)

The first pic is the section I shot using the 3.25mm.

The 2nd shot using a 2" 30mm SV is the area I took the pic in, but I can't find it.

Can you help me find it. I have tried zooming out on the close up and zooming in on the large area but to no avail.

Have snagged it in 'SnagIt'. Did a bit of enlarging etc. Best guess is shown, Ken. Lower right quadrant. L.
It's not off the 'Rand McNally' is it???

Laurie, I did a close up on that area and that ain't it.

Rand McNally???? I took both pics, at different Magnifications.

My eyes are getting sore from searching for it.

Nope, I can't find it!!! This is frustrating.

Both pics were taken only minutes apart and on the same plane so it should be recognisable on the larger pic.

Due to how the shadows shift rapidly and change the appearance of the terrain other moon pics taken at another time or date won't show it the way it looks in the small pic.

It is there though, as I took the pics.

It's good to see that you are having a bit of fun Ken though I believe that I like the second shot better.

Ken

Here is a section from Lunar Map Pro V4 (RITI) which I have cropped and rotated to try to match your image.

What do you guys think?

Cheers

Dennis

Looks to be spot on, Dennis. You've just found 'Hippalus Kenethus'.
