Jupiter from altitude

I've been flying to Townsville every month (not as glamarous as it sounds sadly) and have been kicking myself that I missed the opprotunity to photograph the moon setting above the sunset a few months ago.

On Monday I took this photo of what I assume is Jupiter above the sunset - not a great image as it was through the plane window with a very ordinary pocket digital but it was a beautiful sight. The moon was just above but sadly out of range of the camera.

I'll do a bit more planning next month and take the 350d and plan the flights to coincide with the celestail bodies movements!!

cheers

Nice photo, but I think it is Venus that you have captured.
