Astrofest pics

A selection of images I took at Astrofest.
All were taken using the Gstar Ex camera.
The Flame and Horsehead nebulas I used my Sigma 70-300mm lens.
The rest were taken through the little Ioptron F5 80mm refractor.
Looking through the .avi's before processing, I had to delete meteor trails from each one!!

The flame came out nice and strong didn't it! looks great... I see you managed to pull alot more detail out of M83 also...

The M31 NEARLY fit into the FOV... So very close!

Nice set of images JJJ!

A terrific set of images Jeanette – well done. They are all the more remarkable considering the relatively modest equipment that you were using. You really have squeezed all the capabilities from your system and your skills – top job, you should be mighty pleased!

Cheers

Dennis

I am very pleased with the results Dennis, considering the equipment I was using.
Unfortunately it has again increased my desire for more aperture and finer quality glass. I'd love to have more clarity and sharpness in the images.
