Cool Partial solar eclipse in France, Europe

Hello all !

This is my eclipse of 2008 August 01 in Europe in France, Normandy.
There were many clouds . Partial solar eclipse in France .

C8 + solar filter Thousand Oaks Optical Type 2 plus + Reducer f/6.3 + Canon EOS 400D

Pity you didn't get a full solar eclipse, though partial is better then nothing.

We had one here at the start of the year, maximum was about the same as what you saw.

My daughter and her husband are on their honeymoon first stop was Paris for two nights they may have had a chance to view

At Paris, they view less than Normandy. But they had a chance, it's truth.
