Hello All. I had a look again The bitmaps I processed in Virtualdub a week ago open up at 1.18 m/bites.Each thumnail in the folder shows a Pic of the object and open up with picture viewer. The ones I processed over the weekend open up in the folder but only show 810kb's . You get no image on the thumbnail and they they don,t open up in picture viewer.reguard's Tony

It must be some setting you're using in virtualdub. Can you post a screenshot of how you're saving the avi as bitmaps?

Can you open the avi normally in registax?

Yes I can Run the same AVI's through registax no Problem. I even Deleted the version of Virtual Dub 1.7 and installed the latest 1.8.'Still made no differnce. One thing I have Noticed is the file sizes are smaller 804kbs in properties and they are 32bit the others were 24 and smaller.tony

I Tried a few other things deleted some progarms thought they might be causing problems .It was still the same . So I did a System Restore back to the 15/7/2008. Now it processes the AVi's Into 1.18 m/bite Bitmaps. So it's Back to normal agin I notice In properties it shows Bit depth 24bits not 32bits when it stuffed up Reguard's Tony
