Nice one Peter, lovely detail. I like the colours. What do the different colours represent from a gas composition point of view?

With narrow band the channel choice is a little arbitrary but loosely in this version yellows are Sulphur II, greens/cyan H-alpha and blues Oxygen III

ahh, OK, thats pretty weird. Excellent detail and everything else, but Im not sure about the colour processing, the top capture is a bit lost in the lollypop colouring.

No worries Fred...I don't like it much either....It's just me playing with the colours in PS3....but you have to admit it is different.

A really well weighted SII, H-alpha, OIII is on my to do list but I suspect the SII is going to need mega data and maybe some decent weather!

Im impressed your even interested in giving full NB a go Peter , no not such a stick-in-the-mud after all .

It takes a bit of getting used to, but its actually easier than RGB, no traditional balance standards to adhear to .

Indeed strikingly different, but perhaps too extreme for my liking. I do however enjoy how the different hues contrast the details so well - one of the traits of narrowband imaging. Thanks for sharing Peter.

Very detailed Peter and the colours are very striking. to me it has taken on the appearance of an oil painting.

As something different, I enjoyed this one.

Cheers
