What did you do last Saturday evening???

I had just got my new lens in time for the Bledisloe Cup game on Saturday.
I had a box ticket thanks to Electrolux and work. The lens is the Nikon 70-200 f2.8VR, attached to the D300. The game was unreal and to have a 200mm lens hand held at f2.8 is supurb. The ISO was set at 800 and I am still very pleased with the results. Considering I was up the top of the stand looking down on the game, actually the best place to be to watch the stratagy involved in the game.

Nice clear shots Andrew, seems like a nice lens you have there.

In this weird and politically correct world of ours, it is a wonder you didn't get arrested for photographing.

These days one can't even photograph the grand kids at a function with out being labeled a child molester.
