Managed to get in a quick session two weekends ago between the clouds and finally got round to processing. This one captured using the DSI II and the series 5000 Meade. 51x15 sec subs. Last weekend I finally got the autoguiding working so now looking forward to some longer subs.
Very nice peter,
I like the nice tight stars, DSI images tend to suffer from blooming etc - this looks like a nice DSLR image ( Bias!!), well done.
Autoguiding will take you to greater heights!!
All the best
Doug
Thanks Paul/Matty. I have a 35mm 2" extension tube and also a filter wheel on the front of the DSI so about 55mm of extension to bring it into focus with the ED80. Different story on the 10" newt - barely enough inward focuser travel and no need for the extension tube.
