Saturn and Mars from Brisbane 11 July 08

Hi all,

Here are some more shots of the conjunction taken tonight. A plane flew past during the second exposure. Some thin high cloud has been hanging around Brisbane all day (resulting in a nice sun halo which I'll post in the next thread), and it adds some interesting colours to these shots. Hope you like them.

Nice images of the conjunction Stephen, I really like the first one with the large tree in the middle.

The first one is a ripper.. top job.

The cloud cover was mild for about 20 minutes a bit earlier... I got all excited, set up my mount/scope/laptop.. looked up. full coverage.

I wish it would make up its mind (preferably on the clear skies option)
