Expressions of interest: 1100w custom bass amp (tube pre-amp)

Hi Guys,
i have a Woogie 1100w (550w per channel) hand made bass amp that is now just sitting around due to my band splitting up.
The amp has a tube pre-amp which gives its amazing tone. its built to last forever and has some serious grunt.
the head is basically a mesa boogie clone but with better electronics.
im not sure exactly what speakers are in the cab (4x10) but the sound you get out of them speaks for itself.

If you would like to check it out, no problems. i also have a BOSS GT6-B multi fx processor and a Washburn RB-2502 5 string bass (active pickups) that you could have a bash on, just let me know.

I can provide pictures on request if you like also.

My goodness, foo, 1100W, good for the Cricket Ground. What could I do with that and my vintage Maton bass.

Was 1100W for the cab or the amp peak?

Cheers

Geoff, its 550w per channel so the head will deliver 550w to each cab, i have never plugged a second cab in purely because unless you were outdoors its just massive overkill.

i did get a warning when i picked the head/cab up that the head has more than enough power to blow the cones right out of the speakers so you have to be careful and not push it too hard, saying that though your eardrums would probably be gone well before the speakers popped out unless your slapping with no compression

my old band used to jam in a mates little shed, i literally had to move my cab outside because we thought the shed was going to give way lol, it didnt like the low B much at all, great fun when you can just hit the right notes to make the place you are playing in resonate enough to blur your vision.

the cab was also a big hit with the ladies as a seat, although i wouldnt know why...

If you've still got it I'd be interested in having a look.
