Query -

are they triplets or not,

I presume BAK 4, not BAK 7 prisms

Fully multi-coated?

Bak4 fully multi coated triplets. Collimation (conditional) is accessable, same as units sold by Oberwerk

For sake of technical accuracy : these binoculars are doublets , I own an identical pair . At this low fixed magnification they don't really need to be triplets and for deep sky viewing they give nice crisp images. These are a fantastic buy.

Hey Mark,

So you got a pair :-) Have you got them on a surveyor's tripod like you were talking about? I got one of Kendall's other sets. I'd love these on a parallelogram mount - that'd be heaven ;-)
