Triffid and Eagle

More from last night.
My focus wasn't the best. I sharpened them in Neat Image, the nebs came out OK but the stars are crap.
Oh well, it's all a learning experience.
I'm very happy to have nabbed the Pillars though.

Nice effort JJJ, and as you mentioned, it is a big learning curve, (trust me, I know) but you seem to be learning quickly, well done.

Not too bad considering they're unguided(!!??). Which of your scopes did you use...the dob or your refractor??.

Once you have a scope you can guide, things will only get even better

Nice images JJJ. Would it be possible to use colour filters and combine the results for a full colour image.

I used the little refractor.
Phil, I have the colour philters, but I'll get the mono down pat before I go down that track.

Well done JJJ, some nice captures and good to see your getting clear skies. That's more than I'm getting down here.

Cheers
