New toy has arrived - Pics!

My new Vixen ED115S APO has arrived safely directly from Japan, along with it I also got a Vixen LVW5mm EP and Williams Optics 2" Carbon Dielectric diagonal. I am absolutely over the Moon (excuse the pun) with all 3 items and the quality, the dreaded "New telescope rain" is here and looks to be set in for atleast a few more nights but will definitely post a first light report in the coming days..

127ED will be leaving this week, waiting for an email confirming my shipping (tracking) number ..

I'm sure either myself or the new owner will post arrival pics like I did with the Vixen

Very nice. ! It looks good on the HEQ5 mount. Vixen equipment has such excellent assembly and finish. Will be interested in no less then a full report.

Very lucky! I still wonder why Vixen didn't fit this with a 10:1 micro focuser, which seems all the rage today. Maybe third party products might fill this gap!

I did some research on this and the Moonlight or the more expensive Feathertouch are the only upgrade options on the Vixen, GSO or WO do not mate up against it unfortunatly.
However this said, the focuser already feels very smooth and solid and other reports seem to represent this.

Now for the rain to clear!

Congrats! lovely pics..especially the first two of the carton.. wow! what a magnificent carton lol

As for the focus assembly, I have two vixens, a VC200L and an NA140 both with the rack and pinion.
I contemplated swapping out to a crayford style, but after using both I am sticking with the stock vixen. Very tough, quality, precise and can carry a load.

I'm sure you'll be happy with the vixen, I know I am with both mine.
