Initially purchased for my GSO 6" reflector on EQ5 mount, but I have decided to upgrade to a slightly higher magnification (8x50) for easier star-hopping during accurate polar alignment for Astrophotography.
Finder has a Metal barrel, Metal mounting bracket with 6 alignment screws/locknuts, Achromatic coated glass objective, and 3 element coated glass crosshair eyepiece. Focus is adjustable from the front - you unscrew the locking ring in back of the objective housing and simply rotate the objective housing until the image is sharp. Then you screw the locking ring back and it is locked into focus.
