My AS&T May/June issue just arrived.

....and it looks like another great issue.

Rod Berry's done a writeup on the Large Aperture SDM Dob Scopes including his own 20" "Mary Rose", can't wait to read that one.

Les Dalrymple's article on The Sydney Observatory's 150th anniversary also looks very interesting including some nice vintage photos dating back to 1860.

Houghy's also gotten into the act with a Club Profile writeup of The Newcastle Astronomical Society, including a cameo photo of said author.

Astro photos by Brad Moore, Gary Beal, Dennis Simmons and Anthony Wesley, just to name a few !
Congrats to all who got published.

Well done to Greg Bryant and the team for another great issue.

And still no Nov/Dec issue of Sky and Space. Pitty.

Cheers,

Sounds great Andrew, I can hardly wait for my copy to arrive.

I've worn the print off the last issue.

Cheers

I arrived back this morning from a trip overseas and was pleased to find the latest issue of AS&T waiting in my chair.

Looks like another nice edition. I can not wait to read it!

Spare a thought for us guys in Qld – my last copy arrived (via the mule train?) over a week after I first saw the post on Ice In Space for that issue!

Although I must say, the lead up and anticipation can be quite delicious! LOL!

Cheers

Dennis

It's still not in the shops yet, but this week, the shelves of all three newsagents I've looked in have been restocked with copies of the old issue!

Cheers,
Jason.

Hello,

Thankyou to everyone who has commented thus far on the May/June issue of Australian Sky & Telescope. We appreciate the feedback and we're already working on the next issue, which goes to print next month.

Jason - the May/June issue is on sale in newsagencies tomorrow (Wednesday April 16). Give the shops a couple of hours to put the magazine onto the shelves

Regards,
Greg

Got mine in the mail yesterday...looks good.

Noticed the Bintel ad with the reductions on Meade gear and mentions of changes in prices possible due to currency fluctuations...have they been listening to our moans about pricing in Oz

Great writeup Houghy on page 82 about the 'Newcastle Astronomical Society', just bought a copy for myself from the local newsagency at the square Charlestown, they still have some left too for anyone that may want one.
