Lagoon and Triffid with 300mm lens and 450D

Hi
When I got my 450D even though it will be my daylight camera and this isnt modded I tried it on the Lagoon/Triffid area with the 300mm f2.8 flourite lens from Bert. Also used the Hutech LPS filter. Since then Iris nas been updated and it better haldles the 450D files, previously, it opened them but had a black boarder round them, that is now gone with latest release 5.54.
3x5mins @f2.8. Not bad for an unmodded camera, cant wait for more pics from Pauls modded one

that is actually quite good considering that it isn't a modded camera

Lovely rich area and a nice wide field of view.

I feel there's a tad too much red saturation, but a great image!

Well done.

I've often wondered how my sigma 500mm f5 would go if i had the capability of tracking... although its not f2.8 this image shows there may be hope for it yet...

Very nice shot, and a nice target to select.

Wow Alex a 500mm f5 is a great big lens - give it a go once you get an eq mount - love to see the results.
