I've had my mount for longer than 12 months so I decided to give this a go now my warranty's passed .
Well the article made it look harder than it was turned out to be dead easy, anyone who has done their own tune up or changed brake pads or built models would find this simple.
Only sticky problem is getting the ring nuts off which you may need a special tool for if they are on too tight.
Removed the old grease with engine degreaser (spray can), mineral turps and toothbrush.
I used a Telflon grease to replace the existing stuff if you can't get lithium grease it's a good alternative.
My mount didn't have that many rough spots so cleaning them up with a bit of wet and dry sandpaper was all that it took.
