G' day one and all...
Thanks, for the welcome, Its good to know that I am in the midst of a group of comedians. (just like work, Mike). I suppose that I should be ready for all the "newbie" jokes, much like I had to put up with when I became an amature radio operator all those years ago (20). Although, I dont play with radios any more, I am quite fond of the memories, of those that I met through that hobby, and look forward to this new adventure.
Thanks again for the welcome, I look forward to this new phase

What would this forum be with out ballaratdragons and ving  these guys crack me up and it is good to have a laugh every now and then . Welcome aboard Eric and i think you will enjoy yourself in here. There are a few amature radio ops here in IIS (myself included). There is a thread in here somewhere asking about ham radio which i started so you can post some comments in there as well if you like (just can't find it at the moment). Looking forward to seeing a picture of you with yours arms stretched twice as long as normal when you fix your scope..

He did this from work Guy's, after I gave him heaps...
I found out why he didn't post last night, he didn't go home
He spent the night at his Girlfriends place
I'm sure he has loads of questions for you Dob guy's.
C'mon Erik, ask away. but only about Astronomy stuff, leave the opposite sex stuff out of it. We all suffer from that.
Just don't tell them how much we spend.
