Snow on the way??

I know some of you further south may already have snow, i heard that Tamworth has had snow in some higher areas around the district (may or may not be true either!) , none here yet, blue skies and the temp is 5.0 and falling, need more cloud and moisture, but i wanna do some observing tonight!!!

If the paper's are to be believed there was a dusting of snow in the upper mountains last night. Minimum temperature at my place was 5.8ºC, but I'm a few hundred metres lower than them, and snow here is almost unheard of.

Nippy for this time of year though.

We had a good fall of snow yesterday - probably 2 inches laying on the ground. Quite unusual for the first fall of the year to actually lay.
