Binocular Conundrum !!!???

Hi all.

I picked up this set of binos a while back, for quite a good price. The "double vision" they delivered was quickly delt to by way of tiny adjustment screws just unber the rubber grips. And, as it happens, they have turned out to one of my most used bits of gear....(albeit they slide out focus with the lightest of pressure from the eyes on the eyepieces.)

BUT....I'm having real trouble working out just what they are !!?

I'll explain....

Check out the pics below. Obviously they are "BRESSER" (a Euro branch of Meade?)

They quite obviously say "ZOOM" all over, yet there is NO zoom lever that I can find and cannot get them to "zoom" no matter what I poke'n'prod.

Also they SAY "180 x 100 CB" (which doesn't suggest a zoom feature) but only measure 80mm across the objective.

No current Bresser COBRA models match these so looks like an out-of-date model ? Closest I found was a Russian web site with identical looking set with the specs "20-180 x 100"

Any ideas? Am I missing something ?
(besides perhaps a little grey matter )

Cheers

As long as you get some good viewing from them I would really worry about it.
Sorry I can't help you, searched the net and couldn't find much.
