First Light - Moon....

Hi Guys,

noobie here I don';t normally venture myself in here lol. Clive (Alchemy) was kind enough to lend me his Toucam Pro II. Had a clearish night up until 11pm when the clouds came rolling in. I think this is 201 frames stacked using Registax. Don't know what im doing in registax but i think it is right. Used the 2 x televue big barlow. I tried using the 5 x barlow but image looks blurred?

feel free to pick on bits and pieces .

Cheers

Welcome back Eric
Cool moon pix.
Wish the DSLR could achieve that clarity with one exposure!
Oh well, just have to wait for a night of exceptional seeing.

Excellent Eric, well done. Great start.

If the 5x powermate looked blurry, it could just be a result of bad seeing. When the seeing is not good, and the focal length is long, it's very difficult to know when you've reached the critical focus.

Seems like you may the right choices in registax so far - not overprocessed, good detail.

Did you do any noise reduction after?
