Heads Up. Antares Occulation.
The red giant Antares will be occulated by the moon in the middle of the night on the 23rd April 2008 (Wed.) with 1st contact at 23:29 WST.
Reapearance should be at 00:51 WST on the 24th April (Thurs.).
Weather over here is looking a bit touch and go for that night, heres hoping!!

Many thanks for the heads up - I have just checked Starry Night for my location and first contact is (I think) 3.50AM. Albury NSW.

Hello Petra,
You might like to do a check on your times perhaps. I did a look for Albury and Starry Night 6 shows contact at 2:50am your time. Which would match the 2 hr time differance from here.
I may be wrong but better safe than sorry.
