Ic 4604 & M16

Not too happy with the noise that is in the IC4604 image.. will have to get it into neat image and clean it up a bit

other than that both images are straight from the camera, some minor sharpening & levels adjustments applied.

RGB Combined = 3 hours exposure for IC4604 & 1 hour for M16

Good work Benny. Its hard to see what's going on with the small resolution images provided. In my opinion, I wouldn't bother sharpening the images when operating at this focal length. You'll probably do more damage than good, especially with the M16 wide field image. You can still sharpen, but make sure you mask the layer to sharpen the areas of interest, not the entire image. I'd suggest you raise the black point on the M16 image too. Look forward to seeing more.

Nice images Benny.

If they are straight RGBs, you can reduce the noise by stacking the individual images into a synthetic luminance and process as an LRGB.
