Intimate moments caught on camera

Caught these hover flies hanging around.

Great capture Tele ... talk about timing

Care to divulge camera / lens / settings details?

p.s. they are hover flies.

Used a Panasonic FZ50 with a Raynox DCR-150 macro.
Settings were F11, 1/1000s, on board flash, tele zoomed to 190mm (35 equiv).

Post google, you're correct (shows how much I know!!) but they were hovering like that for over 5 min in the one spot. The one on top had to do all the flying. They weren't perturbed by having a camera stuck in their faces and flashes going off. Preoccupied I suppose.
