Modified PiggyBack Mount. 350D on Ed80mm. Refractor

I made a Piggyback mount for the ED80mm out of shelving brackets welded together.and a base plate out of square steel tube. I have still got to try it out.Now I can get adjustment up and down as well as left to right.Tony. there are 2 pics showing the camera on scope on mount with the old screw attachment. Tony

Why did you mount the DSLR so hi off the ED80?, the original (pic 6) looked better. Why not slew the mount to point rather than the DSLR with its bracket?.
