Antares region

Hi Folks,

Some time ago I managed to obtain an image of the Antares area. Basically the goal was to catch both dark and reflection nebulae around the star and also to get some nice view of the Milky Way. Unfortunately I was a bit in a hurry and as a result the framing is far being perfect. Anyway,
the technical details are:

Kenko Skymemo, Canon 400D (Hutech), Canon EF 50/1.4 @ 4.0, ISO800, 30 x 5 min

Higher resolution version is here: http://tinyurl.com/6rtfxj

Enjoy !

That's a lovely image Antu, everything is so sharp and detailed and the colours look perfect.

A pleasure to view.

I like that image, a nice big field and it shows the nebulae well.

Awesome shot. I love the brilliant colours in the Antares region and the drab grey/brown towards the band of the milky way.
