As New UV/IR Modded 20D (SOLD)

Thanks to all that Inquired, the Camera has now been SOLD

Hi Guys,, as some of you are aware I bought Eric's modded 20D, last week, and what a beauty it is, the images speak for themselves.

However I know I need a good slapping, but I am going to move it on, and use the funds to get the 5D modded.

I am spoiled, and just love my 5D, and the wide fields that it produces, so if I get that modded, it will be awesome.

As I said, the 20D is as Eric described it to me, basically brand new, and has only taken just over 200 images, the sensor is spotless, as is the whole camera, not a mark on it, and works perfectly.

I used it last night, and posted the results in the Deep Sky section, it is just brilliant.

Check out Eric's description of the Camera in the For Sale section, and you will see it is in the condition as I have stated.

I paid $1000.00 for it last week, but am prepared to let it go for $950.00 posted to your door

So if anyone is in the marked for a great imaging camera, send me a PM and we can discuss it.

The image of Eta, below speaks for it's self, it was processed in Image Plus and that was it, nothing else was done to it, 5 exposures at 3 minute each at 200 ISO,

Thanks for looking.

Leon

PS, the only thing it dosen't come with is the manual, but i down loaded that from the Canon site.

I have been asked about that mark on the LCD screen, do not be alarmed, it is not a scratch, but a reflection of my finger print, the camera is clean and not a mark on it. Please see additional pic

Paul, are you sad because I'm an idiot, or are you sad because you want it.

Lester in response to your question in your Pm, and so that others may know, the mark you see on the LCD is no scratch but my finger print smudge, all is well with the camera, totally unmarked.

GEEEE'S LEONNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys, i can honestly and confirm that this 20D is "SPOTLESS". not even a slight spec of dust in any groves. The condition of this camera is BRAND NEW.
I will be happy to take it back if i didn't go ahead and bought the modded 40D. If anyone wants my modded 40D let me know so i can get this back

@ Houghy, there is no way a standard 450D will EVER out perform a modded 20D. I know you wanttt it

ps. dont you have a cooled 350d anyway?

Yea, I know Eric, what can I say but on seeing what this little camera can do after a couple of test runs, the modded 5D is the way to go, with the full frame i can do those wide fields that i just love.

Eric, I'm in the market for a modded 40d as well, basically I'm waiting to see results from Fred before I rush out and modify one myself. I won't be using it for daylight, I'll keep my 400d for that.

Wow, there is almost no noise there! Are you sure it isn't a cooled version of 20D

If I wasn't looking for a modded camera with live view function I would certainly buy yours.

No mate, the Camera is not cooled, it was 10 degrees outside when i took that, mounted as normal on the imaging train, being a Tak 106, and of coarse the 20D.

Houghy asked for 5 minutes, so I gave him 6 instead, just to be sure.

Sorry guys, the filter came in today and my 40d works like a charm for daylight use now. Sorry Leon for highjacking your threat also.

Give it a few more months my modded 40d be up for sale you never know
