I'll try and report what I remember (I think these are right):

Overall:
1. Martin Pugh (M16)
2. Mike Sidonio (can't remember which image, maybe Tarantula)

Galaxies:
1. Martin Pugh (can't remember)
2. Mike Sidonio (can't remember)

Nebula:

Widefield:
1. Marcus Davies (can't remember)
2. Mike Salway (Milkyway)

Clusters:
1. Ken Charlewood (probably omega)
2. Martin Pugh (probably omega)

Solar System:
1. Mike Salway (Clavius)
2. Mike Salway (Jupiter)

I think that's right though i'm happy to be corrected. And I have forgotten some of the images and the nebula category completely

Thanks! I've long thought that Martin's work is remarkable, and it's great to see him get some local recognition. I'm sure all awards to him and the others were well deserved

And to think Mike you were considering leaving the Clavius image out

BTW, I was runner up Overall, Nebulae and Star clusters...I feel like the St George rugby league team ie constantly the bridesmaid ..at least it will be Martin who has to take the heat for winning everything this year ...maybe some more rule changes..? Like you can't enter a narrow field image in the wide field category (even if it is a superb image)....what was going on there? Seemed a little unfair for those who entered true wide field images .

Yes, Martins 12.5" RCOS on PME plus adaptive optics images are definitely of the highest order for sure!

Some lovely and really well executed images were on display allround huh?
