Newtonian Renovation

I have repainted the tube of my GSO 12" Newtonian white using Rustkiller epoxy enamel, is one week long enough for this paint to harden before I reassemble?

I'm also going to give the primary mirror a wash which is no problem but is it OK to wash the secondary or should I just blow the dust off?

Thanks

Only advice about the paint is to go online and look its characteristics up on the company web site and follow the available info. However, I would imagine that a week to cure paint would be enough.

As for the secondary, yes you can wash it the same as you can wash a primary but they generally don't need washing anywhere as often as they point down and don't collect as much muck.

Cheers
