Local provider for side by side plate?

Hello all...
I'm trying to source a side by side plate in Oz, similar to the US made one in this link...

Need it to have a vixen dovetail to fit onto my EQ5

Any ideas!?

I think Bintel do vixen SbS (Losmandy construction) these days as well.

ps...on a budget!!

The link I posted to the plate at ScopeStuff looks as cheap as anything I might get in Oz. But, Matthew is local so I'll see what he can do.

Hi Doug. I got Luke to make a side by side for me and it is great, really solid and he will make whatever you want. Lukes products are not cheap, but you really get what you pay for. Leaves the US side by sides for dead. Strong enough to mount 2 12" Newts side by side without any flex in the plates or mount.

Money well spent.

Side by Side

Hi I use one from Matthew and I find it's very sturdy and well constructed. One good feature is the clamps are able to used used in four positions. Which is good for my various setups.

Did you end up getting a side-by-side plate? I'm going through the same process. What did you choose?
