Almost full Moon from Taromeo

Anne-Louise the boys and I went up to visit Chris Thomas at Taromeo Camp Ovens on Good Friday. The visit served a few purposes;
1. Gave us a chance to use the tent we bought a few years ago,
2. To check out the planned lunch there for the first Sunday of the Astrofest, and
3. Look at Vixen 102m that Chris had for sale.

Posted is one of the images of the (almost) Full Moon we took through the scope. Canon 400D, 400 iso, 1/1600 sec, Vixen 102M f10.

We are quite happy with this first effort.
