meade with celestron

Ive been looking at buying a couple of eyepieces, and saw a great deal on some celestron ones in the usa, but have since found out that Celestron wont allow shipping from usa suppliers to outside of australia
they recommended that a set of meade eyepieces (9.7mm, 15mm and a 2x barlow) for 99USD which seems pretty good to me
but can you put meade eyepieces onto Celestron nexstar telescopes?

You're risking a matter/antimatter type explosion if you try.

But seriously, they will work fine. They are fairly basic eyepieces as most Plossls are, but they will get the job done for you with a price that won't break you early on in the hobby. It takes a few years to warm the wife up to the idea of $500 eyepieces, I'm still not quite there

I still have my Meade 9.7mm, but it lives on the end of my artificial star
