IC Capture question

I've searched everywhere in the IC Capture software which I use with my DMK mono camera but can't find a way to save capture parameters.

It would save a huge amount of time and fuss to be able to save gain/exposure/fps details for each colour filter when imaging and be able to load them at the click of a mouse.

Is there a way of doing this in IC Capture or is it a case of having to do these things 'on the fly'?

Makes for a tricky session when trying to keep a planet on the screen and adjusting focus!

I haven't used IC to capture yet but try using 'save configuration' (Menu: File -> Save Configuration).

Then just use 'load configuration' each time you start up.

Worth a try.

I haven't tried it but you may be able to use WcCtrl Control with IC Capture. If it's possible then you could save your setting in WcCtrl.

Hi Andrew.

I need to save multiple configurations, not just one. One for red, one for blue, one for green filter.

Will have a play with this anyway and see how I go.

Thanks.

Paul - will check that suggestion out too.

You're way ahead of me on this one Matt. I'll have to take a closer look when I next fire up the DMK.

Cheers

Dennis

I wonder if it would be possible to open multiple sessions of IC Cap at once and load each one with your individual parameters.

Then just switch over to capture from the appropriate IC session as you change filters.

No - it locks the port when you open it. The second session of IC-Capture wouldn't find the DMK.
