C10-NGT on Losmandy G-11?

Hi guys, I'm thinking of buying a 10" tube only (Celestron C10-NGT).
I have a Celestron Nexstar 130 SLT and an Orion ED80 at the moment mounted on a Losmandy G-11.
Will the G-11 take the C10 with the ED80 or am I pushing it?
Thanks for any help.

The G11 can easily manage that, Marc, you should see what mine has on it and it is as smooth as silk.

Hi Marc - Here is something I got on Cloudy Nights.

Here's someone getting great results with the C8-NGT - http://home.comcast.net/~solospam/

Be sure to read his Astrophotography Cookbook - http://home.comcast.net/~jimc8ngt/ar...ook/index.html

Tips:
- You'll probably need a new low profile focuser to reach focus with the Canon.
- The C10 is getting close to the limits with the CG-5 mount, but you should be fine. You might want to do the Astronomyboy upgrades - http://www.astronomyboy.com/cg5/
- You'll have some coma with the C10, so you might look into a MPCC.
- Get good at collimation.
