Final glob (the mother of all globs)

Last glob i will put up for a while as dark skies have returned and theres a galaxy or two out there still to be done. plus ive shot my first ever colour saturn yet to be processed, might slip over to join the planetary boys occasionally if it turns out really well

this is Omega centauri, probably the best glob viewable anywhere on earth.

Shot with the ever reliable 12 inch newt, cannon 300d, G11 mount, 9 exposures at 2min each. darks flats etc

Yes it is a beauty alright, and you have done it justice, there certainly are some stars in that one, well done.

Nice Omega. Well done.
Plenty of stars.

Stay away from those planets they will suck valuable deep sky time, hehe.

Nice change to see a tight crop, makes it look especially 'close'. Good stuff

Awsome pic. I think I was looking at that last night but all I got was a fuzzy round patch. Very nice pic.
