wander what sort of natural surroundings it is suppose to blend in with with those markings? the mardi gras perhaps?

Wow – a couple of excellent photos that are difficult to pull off yet you have done so and very well indeed. I particularly like the dramatic and dynamic composition of the 1st photo; you really get the feeling of being down in their world, looking up.
