Wanted: small grab and go scope

Does anyone have lying around a small scope (OTA + mount/tripod and preferably tracking), refractor or newt, that they want to get rid of?

I'm looking for something in Melbourne both to avoid postage and for expediency (I want to take it away with us at Easter next Thursday).

EITHER a dirt cheap (i.e. ~$50) job that I can then hand on to my 6 y.o after Easter. I wouldn't expect a tripod at this price.

OR a somewhat better one, such as the 130mm reflector advertised here on IIS (but that one is in NSW). Then I'd probably mate it to a GOTO such as the iOptron Cube sometime later. Preferably with tripod, and tracking would be nice!


Short notice I know, but I thought I'd give it a try. I was even tempted to get a Celestron PowerSeeker 50 from Tandy for $58 as I walked past it today! [Edit: er, no I've just seen they use .965" EPs, apart from all the other reasons not to buy one]
