I just bought...

The complete 4 seasons of Black Adder.
Just the thing for these wet and cloudy nights.
Hilarious dry dark witty humour with a bit of slapstick thrown in.
Love it.
Season 2 is my favourite with Miranda Richardson as the Queen.

Sounds like a cunning plan to me.

My Fav is the last season when they are in the trenches in WW1.

Tragically, the brass buffoons who orchestrated the real slaughter are portrayed almost as incompetant as the real individiuals were.

Read about Haig and butchers like Hunter-Weston. Enough to make you weep....

It's a terrific series, for sure

I've also got the boxed DVD set and have watched it quite a few times.

My most recent purchases were 'Extras' (Series I and II) and Doctor Who (Series I).

It's great getting the whole lot in one buy.

I also have the complete series of "Father Ted".
Wicked humour.
My dear departed Father-in-Law hated it because it blasphemed the Church.
Like Bladder, you can watch it over and over and still giggle and smirk.

i have the original red dwarf that I taped using a VCR (remember those...? ) from years ago..then bought up to Series 6 on tape prior to them releasing the horrible re-mastered versions. now i am going through the DVD sets but have stopped at Series 6 because Series 7 was way below par (lost one of the creators) and Series 8 stank...

Plus the re-mastered copies changed the look of the ship and some crucial punch lines were missed!

Can anyone tell me which episode of which series did Baldrick(sp?) invent the time machine? That had me laughing so hard I had chest pains the following day!.

I hate the re-mastered Red Dwarfs, wish I could get the originals on DVD

As of late last night I'm halfway through season 3.
With Hugh Laurie as the Prince Regent.
