BInos - 20x80 triplet or not

Am thinking of getting some 20x80's; am wondering if anyone has experience of the contrast difference between triplets vs non triplets binos.
thanks for any advice

You won't notice much contrast difference. The main difference with triplets is flatter field: sharper image near the edge of field. Colour correction is not a great deal better than the doublets but the triplet lens does allow for a shorter barrel, which makes the triplet binos quite a bit easier to handle.
