I bet you have no spiders at all in and around your dome.
They don't breed like that unless it's a healthy environment.

My friend who lives in the bush up at Baffle Creek, has hundreds of them living inside the hollow door of her composting loo.
They climb up and out at dusk, and clamber on top of each other, 5 or 6 frogs high, or more. Then they do Kamakazi dives onto the wood pile.
Needless to say the carpet snakes just have to sit and wait for dinner to arrive.

There great pics Phil, down here in Victoria I haven't seen a frog for many years, they are just not around like they used to be.

Lovely healthy looking frogs Phil, a good sign of a healthy environment.

Our dam is full of them at the moment and the noise is quite deafening at times but great to hear. When the Ibis's show up looking for a meal the sudden silence always alerts you of what is happening.

Cheers

Sure is a good sign of a healthy environment when the little croaky fellas are happy. As for them water birds.... We had a fish pond in the backyard with about 150 goldfish and swordtails in it. Girlfriend came out one morning and said. "someones stolen our fish". I looked up on top of the shed, and there was a big grey Heron with a fat belly. Only 20 survived the attack. There was a net over the pond by next evening. Bl***y birds.
