Tarantula with DSI II pro

Here's some old data I reworked during the last three months of cloudy days...My usual stretch of short DSI II pro exposures... I'm really having a lot of fun with this web-cam on steriods

Comments and advice always welcomed...

Yes the humble web cam, it surly is amazing what these little machines can do, and you have proved that, great effort.

Good stuff Peter, there is some nice nebulosity on show there. If you get a chance some longer exposures will bring them out for sure.

Cheers

Thanks for the comments. I need to brush up on how to use the long exposure function in Envisage. To date I've only played with the normal exposure settings and they have a maximum of 15 second exposure.

Good polar alignment obviously becomes more important with the longer exposures - something I've managed to avoid with the 5-10 second shots I've been doing.
