My best M42 to date

I took this last night between a couple of clouds passing through. Moon was still low so sky was "fairly dark". 10x60s on Nexstar 5", Nikon Coolpix 995 at ISO 800. Still lot of noise to deal with at post processing (see black streaks), but I'm pretty happy with the result considering the limitation of the camera and that's the first time I've managed to get a bit more details. I'm looking forward to try with the Pentax *istD at prime focus when I receive all the adaptors I've ordered so I get less noise in my exposures.

Tracking's not perfect. That's unguided and I noticed it was a bit fast in RA at times on some of the exposures on the G11. Still strugling a little bit with balancing issues.
