The snake was a Brown, not a tree snake.

you sure, browns have a completely different shaped head (more round) and 2 scale between the eye and nose along the top lip not 3...

but who is gunna get close enough to find out?

Hey Ving,
Mate i'm not sure. I'm going on what others said at the time. He was quite aggressive so we had to be careful.He is a pretty one though.
