Another day another rainy night. .sigh.

You know it's been overcast to long when you fire up Starry Night and look at it from the other end of the house through your binoculars.

And when the cats tail passes your FOV you tell yourself you've discovered a new comet. Pussy A/2008

Well it seems to be raining here at present although work meant that viewing was out tonight anyway. I looked on the BOM radar for my area and not a spot falling anywhere.
SO WHAT IS IT THAT IS FALLING FROM THE SKY AGAIN!

No rain here, just total cloud cover, again. Ah well, back to the Harry Potter book. (Amazing what you'll do when bored )

The "low" is expected to be off the Sunshine Coast at 5 pm

And now it's raining down here, started about 8 am and hasn't stopped yet.

I'd say that the water tank needed it but it's full. The overflow runs into the dam and that's full so we have the overflow filling up every available hole and depression behind the dam at the moment.

One thing the frogs and ducks are loving it.

Cheers

The aftermath of the Whitsunday/Airlie Beach storms. Reports vary from 37 to 42 boats damaged, stranded, or sunk; some of the boats worth upwards of $1m.

Weather forecast says that the "low" is about to return north.
